- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 12-ounce can cream soda pop
- 8 ounces whipped topping, like Cool Whip, or your preferred frosting optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease or spray a 9 X 13-inch cake pan with baking spray
Add the cake mix to a large mixing bowl
Pour the cream soda into the bowl, and mix until well combined
Pour batter into a greased 13 X 9-inch baking pan, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until cake starts to pull away from edges, top springs back lightly when touched, and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean
Remove from oven, and allow to cool completely before frosting
